Following Nominet's recent wholesale price rise for all .uk domains, the other registries managing the more traditional domain names have followed suit. These include .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info and .me.
Each of these registries have made small increases over the past few years which we've managed to absorb, keeping the prices that our customer's pay at some of the lowest available. Unfortunately on this occasion we have no choice but to pass these increases on.
As of April 15 2016, the new yearly registration, transfer and renewal prices on the affected TLDs will be as follows:
.com | .net | .org | .biz | .info | .me |
£10 | £12 | £12 | £12 | £12 | £20 |
For all of your currently registered affected domain names you can avoid this increase for up to 10 years by renewing them in advance anytime between now and April 15th 2016.
It is very easy to renew your domains with your account at Purely.Domains. However if you need any assistance with anything please contact the support team who are more than happy to help.
Obviously if you are currently planning any imminent new domain registrations, please ensure you do this prior to April 15th 2016 to purchase them at the current lower price.
